Still Here!

I'm still here, but have been a bit neglectful...oops. We've been busy seeing friends and family and starting to plan our new life with the move back to the US. Which will be much sooner than we had ever thought, it's all a lot to take in. But tonight, I'll focus on eating lots of Indian food and seeing friends...perhaps in these new shoes...

Back! for a bit....

Here I am!! We have been traveling around the states and I haven't been able to spend too much time here. Oopsies. I won't go into detail yet, but we've found out we'll be moving back to the states sooner than we thought. A lot sooner....
For now, however, here are my newest shoes from here. love! comfort! shiny!

Off!

We're off early tomorrow morning. In fact, why call it tomorrow morning, let's call it late tonight. I may be a bit out of the loop the next few days, but will be back on it as soon as I can. Unbeknownst to Erik, I plan to do a lot of shopping in SF...shhhh. stay tuned...

Erik has been away for work...and now it turns out perhaps longer than we thought. boo. Ah well, more time for me to get things done that I've been meaning to. Like paint... and also...work on a certain birthday present for a certain twin that happens to be turning a certain age this month....hmmmmm

Dressing for Winter

Most of my coats have 3/4 sleeves, so in order to stay warm in these inappropriate-for-the-east-coast fashion pieces, one must wear the opera length gloves. Nothing is worse than a fashionista with frost bite. Blue may be in, but not on the skin. I'm so in love with these gloves from J.Crew, and they are on sale... However I've still never spent that much on gloves and not sure if I'm ready yet. We'll see. And to keep that noggin warm, a cute cloche like this one available from Zappos would do the trick nicely. Toasty.

Tuesday Blues

I used to have a pair of peacock feather earrings... they may be one of those things I dig through my parents house looking for while I'm home this month...Oh how I love 'shopping' through my old things. Which I'd like to point out is very economical in these times...

How to Get Things Done in Front of the Television...

I made some jewelry and a scarf while watching The Godfather...l &ll. It's amazing what you can get done when your version of the film has no subtitles and half of the film is in Italian. hmmm I can't tell you what happened, although something tells me that even if it were in English, I would still have no idea...I'm one of those fun-to-watch-movies-with type of people who is constantly saying 'wait, now who is this guy, what just happened, why did he do that.' fun for all!

Egging you On...

Being as we're so far away from home, we try to buy our christmas presents online and have them sent ahead of us so that we're not stuck traveling with everything. Erik and I got an amazing amount of shopping done yesterday. However, I'm still searching... I think this is a great gift for someone with a hankering for countertop gardening.
