London, In a Nutshell...or Two...or Three...

I'm back and have photos of the trip. I won't go into detail of my trip home, but let's just say that the EL AL security guards got to know me well...very well... in fact, they should really be buying me a drink... I don't know what it is, maybe because I'm a female travelling alone, but I get thrown through the ringer when it comes to security. It was a horrible experience and that's the last I will talk about it.

Anyway, back to London... I feel like I'm breaking up with someone when I say this but...New York... I've fallen for someone else. Yes, you are no longer my favorite city in the world... I've gone back to good old Britain. Something about London grabs me in a way that NY no longer does. Maybe I'm just tired of the US...who knows...But knowing me, I may change my mind...
First off here are some photos of the modern art from China exhibit at the new Saatchi.

This 'poo' was actually made from tons of toy soldiers...

Very realistic sculptures in motorized wheelchairs that just moved all around the room on their own...

The windows at Designers Guild...

A flower stall with reminders of the wedding...

Some photos of the wholesale flowers market and Sheila's cousin's back garden...

By the pub in Victoria Park where I had my last lunch with Lisa and Rex and Konrad...

Snow...

My new lovely enormous mug from Cath Kitson...

All in all in was a good trip. Giggi is recovering (although we had a bit of a scare on Saturday with a trip to the emergency room) and the next installment of people are arriving tomorrow to look after her. It was great to see every member of my family, although at different times. I do miss having Sheila around, she sets me right when I feel off.
