Art on Monday

I'm pretty sure I've blogged about her before, but Sheila has some new art up on her website since the last time I checked.


Her paintings are mixed media, and the sculptures are usually a mix of clay, wax, found objects.


The best part of having an artist mother, is that I get pieces for christmas and birthdays. Plus, my parents house is filled with interesting pieces made by her friends and herself.


This painting was promised to Erik and me when we moved back to the US.


I'm also hoping to get a sculpture for my birthday in March.


The only down side of having an artist as a mother is when you leave your own paintings at home and they get reworked into her own...You know what I'm talking about, Sheila...ahem....
